These have come so that your faith — of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire — may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Are you wondering who Jesus is or what Christianity is all about? This 10-week class is designed for adults and senior high youth with questions about God and Faith. This is the first step towards membership for those interested.

If you are interested in exploring membership or are are just interested in learning what Hope is about, email our Director of Inclusion, Fred Franzwa or call the church office at 723-4673.

Jesus Christ loves, cares and influences every aspect of your life. This class is all about Jesus, who is concerned about the everyday affairs of people and touches them where they live, love, laugh, and cry. The class provides answers to questions such as these:

God:
What's He like?
When I experience intense loneliness, does God know what it's like?
Why did He make the world and me?

Bible:
What is it?
Why was it written?
Can the Bible really help me face the problems of life?

Christ:
Who needs Him?
What did He really do when He was on earth?
Is He alive now, and how can He help me?

Faith:
For real or "pie in the sky"?
In everyday life we have to trust those who work in the water department or we would never drink.
How do we learn to trust God?

Life:
Can it be happy?
Is there more to life than eating, working, playing and sleeping?
There is a new abundant life available now from Jesus!

Tomorrow:
Is the future to be anticipated or feared, and can we have a better future?
With the problems of today, will the next ten years be a nightmare?
What about death?

We will share and talk about our knowledge of God, the Bible, the origin and preservation of the world and man, angels, the fall of man, sin, law and gospel, Jesus - the God man, our Savior and His exaltation, our relation to God, our relation to our neighbors, the Holy Spirit, the sacrament of baptism, the sacrament of holy communion, the last things, and the second coming of Christ.

Who attends?
People from all kinds of church backgrounds, people with no church background, and those who are just interested in knowing more about Christ Jesus.
